We speak to Brian Knight, principal of Perth’s forthcoming The Health Arts College …
After two decades as a kinesiology practitioner, the last ten years as creator and owner of Melbourne’s ‘The Health Arts College’, principal Brian Knight is looking forward to launching a Perth campus in the coming months and will be basing it at Murdoch University.
The Health Arts College will also launch their aromatherapy courses as well as remedial massage, but will hold off on their holistic beauty therapy and reflexology courses until their college becomes better known.
“On my previous trips to Perth I’ve found the people I’ve met to be very open to natural health, so it feels very natural to connect more with people in the West by bringing our courses to them,” he said on a recent trip to Perth where he secured classroom space at Murdoch University.
Will Brian be bringing anything to the Perth holistic education scene that existing Perth colleges don’t offer?
“We’ve gone that extra length to get our courses VET-fee approved which means eligible students will be able to have their course fees deferred just like regular university degree students,” he revealed. “They’ll only have to start paying the course fees back once they’re earning $46,000 per year, which means potential students who are on a very tight budget have a very positive career option.”
